Supporting Families with Time, Attention, and Understanding

Girl in Therapy

Our friendly team of clinicians specialise in providing comprehensive neurodevelopmental assessments for autism spectrum condition (ASC) and Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder.

We adhere to NICE guidelines and our assessments are thorough, multidisciplinary, and designed to provide a clear understanding of an individual’s strengths, challenges, and needs.

We work collaboratively with families, ensuring the process is transparent, supportive, and tailored to each individual.

Post-Assessment Support

Irrespective of whether someone receives a diagnosis following their assessment with us we take time to explain our findings to you and to consider what might be helpful moving forward. People typically come to us because they want to improve their understanding of a difficulty their child is facing and we are well positioned to guide you on this.

When we make a diagnosis, we also provide help to process and understand what this means and to help you access the right resources moving forward. This includes practical advice, emotional support, and signposting to additional services or community resources, with a focus on empowering families to navigate the next steps.

Specialist Therapies

Our trained specialists can work directly with young people themselves or parents both face to face and remotely offering flexibility to suit your circumstance and needs.

Using evidence based approaches we work with families to develop skills in areas such as emotion regulation, anxiety management, how to navigate social demands and mental health struggles. We recognise the importance of environmental adaptation e.g. improving things at school, whilst also working to support children and families in developing resilience, coping strategies, and positive communication.

ADVICE & CONSULTATIONS

Advice to Schools

Navigating the demands of an educational setting can be particularly tricky for some young people. Through providing advice and consultation we work with schools to consider how to make the learning environment as accessible as possible to neurodivergent learners.

This may include guidance on considering the impact of specific learning differences, how to maximise participation through a reduction of sensory or social demands and how to understand, recognise and respond to anxiety in the classroom. Our goal is to foster a collaborative approach, ensuring schools feel equipped to meet the needs of every child.
