At Insight Autism & ADHD Services we provide private autism and ADHD assessments for children, young people and adults across Southampton and the surrounding Hampshire area.
WHAT WE OFFER
We welcome families from across Southampton, Hampshire and Berkshire.
Our team of experienced clinicians take a neuroaffirmative approach, recognising and respecting neurodiversity rather than viewing it as a deficit.
Every assessment includes one in-person appointment at our clinical rooms in Southampton or Winchester, with all other stages completed remotely. This means families only need to travel once, while still benefiting from a full, high-quality diagnostic process.

Our assessments follow NICE guidance and include a detailed developmental history, standardised assessment tools, and a clear written report with practical recommendations.

Initial contact: You reach out via our online form or email.

Pre-assessment questionnaires: Completed remotely to gather background information.

Diagnostic assessment which includes 1x in person appointment conducted in Southampton or Winchester; this is the only part requiring face to face attendance.

Follow-up and feedback: Held remotely via secure video call, with a full report provided.

Post-assessment support: Ongoing therapy, coaching, or advice sessions, offered remotely and tailored to your needs.
We aim to make every stage clear, respectful and collaborative.
Our clinicians understand that no two individuals are the same — we focus on strengths, identity and practical support rather than labels alone.
Families often tell us they appreciate the clarity of our reports, flexible scheduling, and the opportunity to discuss their experiences in a supportive way.
Most families attend their in-person appointment in Southampton, just a short drive from the M27. We also welcome individuals and families from nearby areas such as Eastleigh, Totton, Romsey and Winchester.
All other parts of the process — including feedback and therapy sessions — are completed remotely, so distance is never a barrier to care.
